Aluminium tubes are key components in various industrial and construction sectors, valued for their lightweight, corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. We provide tubes in the 6060 and 6082 series. The 6060 series contains approximately 0.6% silicon and 0.6% magnesium, offering a strength range of 160-250 MPa (megapascals) and is easy to machine, bend and weld. The 6082 series, with higher levels of magnesium and silicon, along with traces of other metals like manganese and chromium, achieves strength levels between 260 and 310 MPa, making it one of the strongest aluminium alloys available.
